New Illinois video game law challenged
SPRINGFIELD – Legislation signed on Monday by Gov. Rod Blagojevich to prohibit the sale and rental of violent and sexually explicit video games to minors is already being challenged in federal court.
The Illinois Retail Merchants Association and representatives of the video game industry filed the lawsuit on Monday afternoon in Chicago.
