Katrina evacuees calling C-U home

CHAMPAIGN – Keesha Lanehart, a 33-year-old cook from New Orleans, never dreamed that Champaign-Urbana would become her new home.

But now the mother of four is preparing for a long stay locally, as she tries to get her life sorted out.
