New head of hospitals officially on board

URBANA – David Bertauski, who was appointed in mid-July to oversee Provena Health's two hospitals in Urbana and Danville, has resigned from his consulting firm and has become an official Provena employee, the Mokena-based health care company says.

Michael Dowdy, vice president of planning and marketing for Provena's central region, said Provena bought out Bertauski's contract with Chicago-based Navigant Consulting and Bertauski has resigned from that firm.
