Salute ends at Vietnam memorial

DANVILLE – A salute to victims of the Sept. 11 attacks ended at a salute to casualties of the Vietnam War on Sunday.

The 9/11 Memorial Ride that began in Tilton ended more than eight hours later at the American Veterans Traveling Tribute, a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall of Washington, D.C. The wall will be on display today and dismantled Tuesday morning.
