Efforts at Bement plant blossom into communitywide drive

BEMENT – Lisa Perry was driving to work last week listening to an area radio station raising money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, when she decided to start her own drive.

Perry, a production scheduler at Cim-Tek Filtration (a Bement-based company that produces petroleum and hydraulic filters), asked her supervisors if they would mind doing something for the hurricane victims.
