RANTOUL – Children who evacuated to Rantoul in the wake of Hurricane Katrina will soon receive bicycles to ride, thanks to a partnership between the Rantoul Police Department and the Rural Champaign County Special Education Cooperative.

High school students in the cooperative's Pathways Program in Rantoul spent Tuesday repairing and reconditioning used bicycles donated by the police department.
