Pension systems able to recover some losses in settlement

SPRINGFIELD – The state pension systems for teachers, university workers, judges, state employees and lawmakers were able to recover some of their losses from the WorldCom collapse in a settlement announced on Thursday.

"We're very, very pleased with the outcome," said Dan Slack, acting executive director and general counsel for the State Universities Retirement System.
