TUSCOLA – The Tuscola football team got treated to a steak-and-potatoes dinner after practice Thursday by their moms and dads in the high school cafeteria, while the Tuscola cheerleaders were braving a 16-degree wind chill to paint "Go Warrior" messages on the windows at McDonald's.

Excitement over the upcoming semifinal game at 3 p.m. Saturday on Tuscola's home turf runs deep among these Warriors fans, who want more than anything for the team to go all the way to the state finals – though few want to say it in a voice much louder than a whisper. Can't jinx it, you know.
