Hangar Two to be storage site

RANTOUL – When the village first received Hangar Two when Chanute Air Force Base closed in 1993, Rantoul leaders hoped the building would house new industry.

With no industrial plant on the horizon for the hangar, Aviation and Economic Development Director Reed Berger said the village will have to settle for using it for cold storage of airplanes.
