Woman killed in hit-and-run

URBANA – Authorities today are looking for a vehicle that struck and killed an Urbana woman, then left the scene Monday night.

Jeanette Griffin, 45, of 3504-1/2 Clifton Drive, was pronounced dead at 6:55 p.m. Monday where she had been found along Airport Road in northeast Urbana by Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup.
