Section 8 protections rejected by Champaign council

CHAMPAIGN – It doesn't appear that the Champaign City Council will be including anti-discrimination protections for people receiving governmental rent subsidies in the city's human rights ordinance.

That is, unless council member Marci Dodds should change her mind about abstaining on the issue.
