Republican announces candidacy for Illinois House

CHAMPAIGN– Urbana Republican Rex Bradfield said putting a stop to "irresponsible spending," shoring up the state pension systems and finding a better way to fund education would be his main priorities if elected to the Illinois House.

Bradfield, 59, planned to formally announce his campaign for the 103rd District at the Illini Union today.
