Rantoul board backs proposed air gun ordinance

RANTOUL – A proposed ordinance being considered by the Rantoul Village Board would make little Ralphie Parker from "A Christmas Story" a criminal.

On Tuesday night the village board recommended passing an ordinance prohibiting persons under the age of 21 from possessing or discharging air guns, BB guns, paintball guns and pellet guns in public places.
