District 9 race splits Democrats and Urbana
URBANA – For Herbert Kellman of Urbana, deciding whom to vote for in the Democratic primary in Champaign County Board District 9 wasn't hard.
Kellman, who lives just south of Urbana High, has a blue-and-white Kirchner-Bell yard sign in his front yard. That means he favors Democratic challengers Robert Kirchner and Lisa Bell over the two Democratic incumbents, Steve Beckett and Barbara Wysocki, in the March 21 primary.
