Web site directs fans to East Central Illinois

SPRINGFIELD – Danville Stadium and the University of Illinois are among the featured stops on the state's new "Magnificent Movie Getaways" promotion.

The idea is to encourage visitors to tour the Illinois locations where their favorite movies were filmed, from recent hits like "The Break-up" and "The Lake House" to old favorites like "The Blues Brothers," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "National Lampoon's Vacation."
