Durbin to discuss cleanup of former air base
RANTOUL – U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Springfield, is coming to Rantoul on Wednesday to talk to local leaders about the cleanup of the former Chanute Air Force Base.
Mayor Neal Williams said Durbin is scheduled to meet with village officials on Wednesday afternoon at the Rantoul Municipal Building, 333 S. Tanner St.
