Man's death ruled as justifiable homicide

DANVILLE – A Vermilion County coroner's jury ruled the May 30 death of Aaron Moss, 27, was justifiable homicide and that he died of a gunshot wound to the back.

Mr. Moss was shot by Danville police Officer Troy Wasson during a foot chase, which took place early that morning at the Fair Oaks public housing complex at 1607 Clyman Lane.
