Covenant cuts baby screening provider

Sunday may be the end of a long-running collaboration between the Christie Foundation and Provena Covenant Medical Center that tested the hearing of babies born at Covenant.

For the last 23 years, the Hearing Education Program, part of the Christie Foundation, has been providing newborn hearing screenings, first at Mercy and Burnham hospitals, then at Covenant in Urbana.
