It's your business: Applebee's gets set for opening in September

Work on the new Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar in Savoy is about finished, and the opening has been set for 11 a.m. Sept. 12, said franchisee Kevin Allardice.

The restaurant is at Curtis Road and U.S. 45, in front of Pages for All Ages bookstore. Allardice said hiring is under way, and there are still openings for about six positions.
