Suspect's attorneys want trial relocated

DANVILLE – Attorneys for a Newtown man accused of killing his wife argued Wednesday that their client should be tried in Cook County, because pretrial publicity and community events have tainted any possible Vermilion County jury pool.

"Jurors will come to the courtroom believing Mr. (Kenneth) Gray is a dangerous man," said Diane Wiley, a trial consultant who was hired by the defense at $175 an hour to review the media reports surrounding the murder case of Kenneth Gray, 35, of Newtown.
