FutureGen finalists tour facility

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – More than 30 people from Tuscola and Mattoon climbed onboard a bus to Terre Haute on Tuesday to see gasification in action at the Wabash River Coal Gasification Power Plant.

The visitors from Illinois got a first-hand look at how coal can be converted into a synthetic gas to provide power for electrical turbines.
