Westville native breaks record on TransAmerica ride

Ushuaia, ARGENTINA – Florence Gerulski of Westville felt a great sense of relief Friday and a little letdown now that she no longer must check her computer to see where in the world her son is today.

She knows he's warm, dry, safe and resting in a luxury hotel in Ushuaia, Argentina, after breaking the TransAmerica World Record by riding a motorcycle 17,000 miles in 27 days from Alaska to Argentina.
