Champaign to pursue annexation deal for ethanol plant site

CHAMPAIGN – Despite protests from a handful of residents, the city council voted unanimously Tuesday to pursue obtaining an annexation agreement for The Andersons proposed ethanol plant site.

But hurdles remain, city and company officials said.
