Council member says he will pay taxes

CHAMPAIGN – Champaign City Council member Giraldo Rosales says he expects to pay his overdue property taxes on his heavily damaged residence at 618 W. Hill St. within the next two weeks.

Rosales said he and his family are also in the process of moving back into Champaign after having lived in a rental home in Urbana provided by his insurance company since February 2005. The move should be completed this month, he said.
