DeLand-Weldon parents voice concerns after 'death list' found
DELAND – About 20 parents concerned about the safety of their children after a seventh-grade student was found with a "death list" appeared at the DeLand-Weldon school board meeting Monday to talk about security in the schools.
"The handling of the actual incident was great," Michele Followell said. "Getting information out to the parents was terrible."
