Ameren wants earnings kept confidential
SPRINGFIELD – As the battle rages over a scheduled January power rate hike, Ameren has quietly asked the Illinois Commerce Commission to keep its forecasted earnings under wraps.
The utility has to submit the earnings forecasts to the commission as part of an asset transfer notice that is unrelated to the pending rate case. Ameren filed paperwork on Wednesday asking that those numbers be kept confidential.
