Lower voter turnout predicted in area

URBANA – Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden is predicting a lower turnout in the Nov. 7 election than the last midterm election four years ago.

But Champaign County's Republican and Democratic chairmen say party followers are motivated and will head to the polls.
