Expert: No way to know when mold got on wood

URBANA – The mold expert hired by Champaign County said that no one can reliably state when small amounts of mold were introduced into the new county nursing home.

"There's no way to carbon-date mold," said Susan Raterman, a certified industrial hygienist who heads the Chicago consulting firm that bears her name.
