Fahey wins seat her husband vacated
DANVILLE – When Nancy Fahey launched a bid for the Vermilion County circuit judge seat vacated by her husband, people told her she could not beat her opponent, Frank Young.
"I thought I had a chance," she recalled shortly before learning of her victory over the county's state's attorney in Tuesday's general election. She didn't think anyone was unbeatable, she explained.
