Villa Grove voters reject sales tax again
VILLA GROVE – Villa Grove city council members will be going back to the drawing board to find a way to finance the emergency services it provides to residents and those in the rural area.
Voters on Tuesday defeated a sales tax proposal to support emergency services 390 to 435. It was the second time voters rejected the proposal.
