Refinancing option could cut budget deficit
DANVILLE – County officials expect a $376,000 budget deficit next year. Finding a way to cut expenses by almost half that amount – $150,000 – sounds too good to pass up.
To do that, however, the county would have to stretch out its long-term debt on the Public Safety Building and the Juvenile Detention Center.
