AT&T plan raises issues for Champaign Council
CHAMPAIGN – The city of Champaign is about to wade into the statewide controversy involving AT&T's Project Lightspeed, which would offer video and other services to residents via telephone lines.
The telecommunications giant has approached the city in recent months seeking approval for its plans to roll out its "U-verse" service in the city.
