Rural Oakland youth dies in hunting accident
OAKLAND – A 15-year-old Oakland boy died Saturday morning in a hunting accident when his rifle accidentally discharged.
Sgt. Scott Siddens with the Illinois Conservation Police said the accident occurred between 8 and 9 a.m. when Keith Voh Behrens was deer hunting with his father, Gregory Von Behrens, about 1< 1/2> miles southeast of Oakland in Coles County.
