Senior citizens urged to sign up quickly for Medicare Part D

CHAMPAIGN – Another round of enrollment for Medicare's optional prescription drug coverage has begun, and counselors helping the elderly say: Don't wait too long to decide.

Open enrollment started Thursday and officially runs through the end of December, with coverage beginning in January.
