Madison Court community room to be remodeled
DANVILLE – One woman's persistence has prompted Danville Housing Authority officials to remodel a community room at Madison Court for an after-school tutoring program.
Beeler Terrace resident Arnetta Boldian has pushed for a tutoring program at the DHA complex since September, asking first for space at the complex or across the street at Madison Court. Board members awarded a $12,945 contract late last week to Freeman Custom Homes and General Contracting of Danville to ready the room for tutoring. Bids were opened Nov. 15, DHA Executive Director Greg Hilleary said.
