Maroa-Forsyth ends Westville title hopes in Class 2A
CHAMPAIGN – Three Maroa-Forsyth players scored two touchdowns each and the Trojans converted two interceptions and a fumble into scores Friday on their way to a 43-22 win over Westville in the state Class 2A championship game.
It's the first-ever state title for the Trojans (14-0), who were making their 12th playoff appearance.
