Public gets look at Gibson City hospital addition
GIBSON CITY – A two-story 20,000-square-foot addition at Gibson Area Hospital was opened to the public last weekend, but it won't be serving patients until early in 2007, according to Chief Executive Officer Gary Petersen.
He expects that final inspection and issuance of a certificate of occupancy from the Illinois Department of Public Health could take up to 45 days.
