Shopping? Why? It's Tiger time
WESTVILLE – Normally on the day after Thanksgiving, Joanie Hyde would be joining the caravan of shoppers, but not this year.
"I would much rather go to a Tiger football game than go shopping," said Hyde, who planned to wake up about 4 a.m. this morning and go through her normal game-day ritual, grabbing some coffee, donning the orange and black and touching the little wooden "Westville Tiger" football player that stands along with a bunch of Westville Tiger signs in the Hydes' yard.
