Girl taken to hospital for smoke inhalation

GIBSON CITY – A young Gibson City girl is being treated for smoke inhalation after being rescued on Monday from a house fire south of Gibson City.

Destiny Langlois, a second-grader at Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley elementary school, was reported to be in improved condition Friday at Children's Hospital of Illinois at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
