When a passing motorist noticed smoke coming from the roof of a building in Savoy last month, the Savoy Fire Department soon had its hands full.

Firefighters from Tolono, Eastern Prairie, Edge Scott, Willard and the Carroll Fire Department and Cornbelt from Mahomet all helped Savoy battle the fire at the Department of Children and Family Service's regional office at 1806 Woodfield Drive on Oct. 11.
