Rantoul board to establish policy on cafetorium use
RANTOUL – When Rantoul Township High School opened its new "cafetorium" in 2003, it didn't take community members long to size up the new local resource.
Now it's a popular public spot. Two beauty pageants hold practices and their events there. Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, ministers, churches and Rotary and Lions clubs hold meetings there, and the Rantoul Theater Group rehearses in the spacious room with a stage, lighting and other professional equipment.
