Mediacom viewers in area face threat of losing ABC shows
Television shows like "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Desperate Housewives" and some college football bowl games are among the scores of shows that could be unavailable come Friday morning to some area Mediacom customers due to a contract dispute with Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns WICD-TV, the ABC affiliate in Champaign.
Cable television customers in area communities will know as soon as Friday whether cable will continue to offer the shows that air on WICD.
