County waiting on state approval for nursing home
URBANA – Champaign County could be getting a break from the state on regulatory deadlines for its new nursing home — maybe.
"The county's previous filed alteration, declaratory judgment and renewal requests are all tentatively on the agenda" for the Dec. 20 and 21 meeting of the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board, said Steve Beckett, the Urbana Democrat who chairs the county's facilities committee.
