Groups mark National Meth Awareness Day

DANVILLE – Today, 39-year-old Robert P. Hempel of Danville is expected to be arraigned on charges of manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine and possession of anhydrous ammonia.

State police arrested Hempel at a Montclaire Street house Tuesday as part of an ongoing methamphetamine production investigation.
