Drug, explosives charges are filed
DANVILLE – A Danville man arrested Tuesday during an Illinois State Police methamphetamine investigation was arraigned Thursday on drug and explosives charges.
Robert P. Hempel Jr., 39, was charged with the manufacture, possession and delivery of methamphetamine and the possession of an explosive or incendiary device. The charges range from a Class 2 felony to a Class X felony, which is punishable by 6 to 30 years in prison.
