Proposal music to business owners' ears
URBANA – Hoping to make downtown Urbana a more popular destination, the city council is preparing to relax a ban on outdoor amplified music.
The council, meeting in committee this week, tentatively approved changes to its noise ordinance and sidewalk cafe licensing agreements that would allow amplified music between 11 a.m. and 1 a.m.
