Students share results of semester-long studies
URBANA – Members of the corn team found plenty of information about the crop they'd adopted, but the team studying opium, cocaine, khat and cannabis had some trouble.
"It was hard to find credible sources on the Web," said Amy Rasmussen, a University of Illinois senior majoring in molecular and cellular biology who, like her teammates, wore psychedelic colors to dramatize their psychoactive subject.
