Scamming sisters arrested for burglary

Two former Hoopeston women with a long history of posing as boys to steal charitable donations are in trouble again – this time for allegedly breaking into a Kansas church and stealing money.

Twins Roberta "Birdie Jo" and Becky Hoaks – 35, who now reside in Galena, Kan. – face felony charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property in Cherokee County District Court in Columbus, Kan.
