Champaign man accused in campus hit-and-run accident

CHAMPAIGN – A Champaign man is accused of a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian in the campus area over the weekend.

Steven A. Rath, 21, of 1001 S. Oak St., was given tickets for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to a Champaign police report.
