Teen faces felony charge for 'hit list'
DANVILLE – A Hoopeston teenager faces felony charges for writing an alleged "hit list" of students' names on the bathroom wall at Hoopeston Area High School.
Ryan Reed, 17, of the 200 block of North Market Street, faces one count of criminal damage to government property, a Class 4 felony punishable by probation or at least one to three years in prison. Superintendent Mark Conolly said Reed has not been in school since his arrest.
